I would love to make this and dream of a warm day in Italy instead of a cold day in Wellington...but I have never seen tinned crab here? Not even Moore Wilson. I must look again though. BTW - still no Boursin available anywhere.
It's cold here too so you're not missing out on any tempting early summer vibes! How funny! Maybe there is a great supply of fresh crab so tinned seems redundant? I know NZ's seafood is spectacular, but now you mention it, I don't recall crab...? Oh my god what is going on with the Boursin, I might have to post you some
The crab issue needs to be investigated further :-) As for Boursin...there is a substitute version available at least for garlicky creamy cravings. A lot of stuff from Europe seems to have disappeared since Covid disrupted the supply chain.
Oh excellent, I'm sure that's a great substitute for tinned, but how strange - New Zealand must just have such great fresh crab that they don't bother with the preserved stuff
