There is something about poached eggs on toast when having breakfast in a hotel or brunch somewhere. I can't explain it....I do poached eggs at home too but there is something about paying over the odds for toast and eggs.

Haha I definitely know what you mean... but I can see this reasoning covering all eggs, why else is brunch so successful as an industry, what amazes me is poached eggs - there is nothing like the same demand for scrambled and certainly not fried (unless it comes as a fry up). I would invest shares in poached eggs if I could
